Polishing the nails!

Well at least not old enough to not hear this teenager sound! The test will produce a tone that is generally only heard by people under the age of 25. It has been used as a deterrent device to keep teenagers from loitering in malls and shops, and sounds similar to a buzzing mosquito. The elderly and people with hearing damage often cannot hear the sound. Nice to know I am not that old :P Click on the box and get your youth back haha :D

Nicole saw my post about a sheep I bought and today I received a package from her. I had no idea what to expect, so cracked up when I saw it :P Sheep-slippers! Haha

She also put some polishes from SinFul Colours in the package and some cakegoodies :D I will swatch those as soon as I am done with my little chanel polish experiment :P

So when I got home not only did I have new phone waiting for me… but I also received a package with some new polishes in it from ORLY! And I of course tried my new phone’s camera for a quick picture of the polishes!

And I am amazed over the quality of the picture! I loooove my new phone :D The only sad thing about all this.. is I cant try these!! I made a promise to a very sweet reader to test the how long my new Chanel polish can last before it starts to chip and such.. So have to hang in there :P

This is gonna be so off topic.. nothing nail related here today.. move it along people :P

This Christmas I picked up a great idea from on of my favorite blogs, the danish blog guru Marie. She had a post about on how her home looked and had included a little contest and some pictures.  See her post here And in this I saw a great idea for a Christmas presents to my mom and my future “dad” :P

So I present the Mom and Dad Chair!

Step 1:
You take 2x old dusty chair from a flea market

Step 2:
You take 1 old dusty grandfather to help you get the buttons off the legs

Step 3:
You burnish(is this right word?) the chair where the glue is suppose to be put on

Step 4:
You put a lot of pictures of the person the chair is intended to on

Step 5(optional):
Then you maybe put something a little extra on (in this case a picture from their wedding day)

Step 6:
Then you coat it with some see through stuff so it wont be worn up so quickly and voila you have a mom and dad chair ;DThen you have the dusty grandfather disguise it as something completely different when wrapped.
And then they had a very merry Christmas! :D
I wish I was there when they got the present, but this year I had to work Christmas eve
(oh well can re-use the idea when I get some grandchildren for them at some point :P)

But they really liked their present and it came in handy for our Christmas party :D

This is a house here in Denmark, they went all out using 22000 led lights and have a FM sender so if you tune in to a specific radiostation when u drive by the house the music plays in beat to the lights ;D

Faldt lige over denne her på et forum og synes det var ret sjovt. Jeg er ret sikker på jeg aldrig vil bruge det her. En del af glæden ved neglelakken for mig er koncentrationen ved at sidde og lakere neglene :) Er sikker på det er et godt alternativ for dem der ikke er så glade ved det som mig :P

Just saw this on a forum and thought it was kinda funny. Don’t think I would ever use this. I enjoy the concentration of putting the polish on :) But I think its a good alternative to those who don’t see the joy in that as much as me :P

Tror aldrig jeg har gået så lang tid uden at gi en lyd fra mig herinde.. og det er absolut ikke med vilje.. men jeg har været på job så det er ikke fordi jeg ikke har haft noget at blogge om :)

Igår så jeg til min store overraskelse at jeg har vundet en lille konkurrence hos Brigitte :D og var meget stolt over at få mit navn trukket op af en lilla magrethe skål :D Jeg vandt et par ting som der var i en goodie bag fra et af Friis&Co’s blogger arrangementer.. jeg kunne desværre ikke selv deltage hverken den ene eller anden dag da jeg havde taget 2 vagter for en kollega.. så jeg er glad for at deltage på den her måde :) Det jeg vandt var pungen og den hvide hårbøjle. Lige præcis pungen har jeg luret på så mange gange inde på friis&co hjemmesiden så den er jeg virkelig glad for :D skal nok love at flashe når jeg modtager den :) og samme gælder for hårbøjlen self. ;D
